Mexican Juan Guerrero was caught with the drug in his suitcase at Glasgow Airport in October last year.
The High Court in Glasgow heard how the cocaine, which was 89% pure, had to be extracted from white-coloured foam.
Judge Lady Smith told Guerrero, 37, to expect a prison sentence and deferred sentence for background reports."

Two men, aged 19 and 32, of Toronto, were arrested on several drug-related charges Friday night after authorities searched the Constellation Road warehouse as well as a semi truck in Valencia and a home in North Hollywood, said Sgt. Jay Trisler of the Santa Monica Police Department.
The drug bust came after almost two weeks of surveillance by several police agencies.
Investigators began following one of the suspects on Jan. 5, after learning he had been arrested in a past major cocaine bust, Trisler said.
The two men were going to smuggle the cocaine into Canada, according to a statement from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement."
