BBC News - Baseball player caught with £1.28m drug haul in Glasgow: "unemployed baseball player has admitted trying to smuggle cocaine with a potential street value of £1.28m into Scotland from the United States.
Mexican Juan Guerrero was caught with the drug in his suitcase at Glasgow Airport in October last year.
The High Court in Glasgow heard how the cocaine, which was 89% pure, had to be extracted from white-coloured foam.
Judge Lady Smith told Guerrero, 37, to expect a prison sentence and deferred sentence for background reports."
