Women jailed over bodysuit drug smuggling bid - National - Diss Express: "Two women have each been jailed for more than 10 years after they were caught on a cruise ship in Kent attempting to smuggle cocaine into the country using bodysuits.

Lithuanian Violeta Ivanova, 48, and Maria Kosturkova, 20, from Bulgaria, were the final two of eight smugglers to be jailed for their part in the conspiracy, the UK Border Agency (UKBA) said.

The pair pleaded guilty last August to attempting to smuggle 77lb (35kg) of cocaine with an estimated street value of £1.4 million, into the UK on board the MSC Orchestra at Dover, Kent.

They were each jailed for 10 and a half years at Canterbury Crown Court, following the sentencing of six other Bulgarian and Lithuanian nationals on Friday."
