Two Lafayette brothers were arrested on Friday after police discovered cocaine, marijuana and firearms inside their residence.

Acting on an anonymous tip, Lafayette police responded to 316 S. 31st St. at 9:25 p.m., Friday.

They discovered more than one pound of cocaine with an estimated street value of over $15,000. They also discovered marijuana, firearms and large amounts of cash.

Arturo Fuentes, 26, of Lafayette, was arrested on suspicion of dealing cocaine, possession of cocaine, maintaining a common nuisance and obstruction of justice. He was taken to the Tippecanoe County Jail where he was being held today on $50,000 surety.

Gustavo Fuentes, 19, of Lafayette, was arrested on suspicion of possession of marijuana. He was taken to the Tippecanoe County Jail where he was released overnight.

Police are continuing their investigation.
