Reggae Singer, Found Guilty in Drug Case - Speakeasy - WSJ: "Buju Banton, a popular Jamaican reggae singer, has been found guilty of drug charges by a Florida jury. Banton, whose real name is Mark Myrie, was accused of setting up a drug deal in 2009 with two other men. Banton was charged with conspiracy to possess with the intent to distribute cocaine, among other counts. His first trial ended in a deadlocked jury. Banton’s album “Before the Dawn” won the best reggae album Grammy earlier this month."
