Drug trafficking mastermind busted, 2.1kg of heroin seized: "Two suspected drug traffickers and five suspected drug abusers were arrested in an operation yesterday.
Approximately 2.1kg of heroin no.3 with an estimated value of S$320,000 and cash S$11,000 were seized.An exchange was about to take place at Jalan Tentaram between the two drug peddlers, both Singaporean male, unemployed when the Central Narcotics Bureau authorities raided the compound.The bag which the runner was carrying was found to contain 8 bundles of heroin no.3, weighing approximately 1.9kg.A search of the premises uncovered another 20 packets of heroin no.3 weighing approximately 230g and 'Ice' weighing approximately 3.3g. Cash of $11,000 believed to be drug proceeds was also recovered from the premises."
