BBC News - Three-year term for Whitehaven heroin dealer: "George Carr was arrested in January, after amateur rugby league player Ashley Macdonald died in Whitehaven.
The original charge of administering poison with intent to endanger life was dropped when it was found Mr MacDonald had died of natural causes.
Carr, 31, of Victoria Terrace, Whitehaven, had earlier pleaded guilty to three charges of supplying heroin.
Carlisle Crown Court was told that police were called to a flat in Whitehaven after Mr MacDonald became unconscious."
